An exciting new place has just opened its doors in the Houston, TX (Sugarland) area and it is quickly becoming a local favorite. The Middle Spoon is a trendy eatery where desserts and high end cocktail drinks are their specialties, but the food is equally as good!
The Middle Spoon opened its first location in Halifax, Nova Scotia by creator Lacey Doherty in 2011. She wanted to open a place where people could get delicious desserts that are made fresh on site each day. It quickly gained popularity among the locals and now has locations in Bedford, Nova Scotia and Houston, TX and is expanding across the United States. The Houston location is conveniently located at 15911 City Walk, Sugar Land, TX 77478 in the Sugar Land Town Square amidst the shops, condos, and offices making it a prime site for lunch, after work cocktails, girls night out, or unwinding after some shopping. You can find the same great menu from the original location with the addition of some light eats and specialties created uniquely for the Houston location.
The Middle Spoon offers a variety of menu items to hit the spot. All of their menu items are made fresh daily, with fresh local ingredients. Their cocktails come in a variety of options, and the menu breaks them down into sweet, strong and savory, or fresh and light options like the French Mojito, which is a combination of raspberry liqueur, freshly chopped mint, rose water rinse, and vodka topped with soda and a lime wedge. All cocktails are made the traditional way, which takes time to perfect and they consist of homemade syrups and fresh squeezed juices and herbs. The options are endless!
